P&E: WillowTree Press is pleased to announce that authors Dorothy Morrison and M. R. Sellars both placed as Top 10 Finishers in the 2008 “Preditors and Editors” Readers Poll awards, which ended voting on January 14, 2009.
Lucinda’s Web by Dorothy Morrison ranked at #8 in the Romance Novel Category
Blood Moon by M. R. Sellars ranked at #6 in the Thriller Novel Category.
The “Preditors and Editors” Awards stem from an annual poll run by one of the premiere publishing industry watchdog sites on the web. Winners and top 10 finishers in the poll earn “bragging rights” for their work.
COVR: WillowTree Press will be submitting three titles to the Coalition Of Visionary Resources (COVR) judging committee to be considered for the 2009 COVR Awards.

Blood Moon by M. R. Sellars – Visionary Fiction Category
Magick, Mystery & Medicine by Kristin Madden – Magick and Shamanism Category.
The COVR Awards are a prestigious honor bestowed by the coalition each year at the INATS West conference during a formal banquet and ceremony. In 2008, two WillowTree Press titles received honors – Dorothy Morrison’s Utterly Wicked as the Winner of the Wicca/Paganism Category and Rev. Velvet Rieth’s My First Little Workbook of Wicca as a finalist in the Children’s Book Category.
The top 3 “Finalists” in each category are announced approximately the first week of June and the awards will be presented at INATS, Saturday, June 27, 2009.
At this time the three WillowTree Press titles are being submitted for consideration. We will issue updates should they advance further in the judging process.

GOING COUNTRY
Tish Owen, author of Chasing The Rainbow: Facilitating a Pagan Festival Without Losing Your Mind, as well as the owner of Goddess and the Moonin Nashville, Tennessee, was recently tapped by the producers of CMT’s “Gone Country” to read Tarot for the cast. (Gone Country is a reality type show where 7 celebrities move into a Nashville mansion together and work toward transforming themselves into all around country performers.)
We have not yet received word on an airdate for the episode featuring Ms. Owen, so watch your local cable listings for more info.
